Established in 2011, ACONS has been growing as one of the most dynamic and innovative engineering firms focusing on building engineering, urban engineering and advanced construction solutions. With variety of projects local and abroad, of which, approximately 3.5 million square meters more of floor area was constructed from small scale such as the first drive-thru McDonald in Ho Chi Minh City to mega residential complex as D’ Capital in Hanoi, ACONS team has been demonstrating our vast experience in hospitality and commercial development, as well as high-rise residential and office buildings.

ACONS has been very proud of its contribution to many projects with the complexity of design methodology, constructability, cost and time constraint. ACONS team has successfully engineered some high-profile buildings up to 5 basements such as D’ Capitale (Tan Hoang Minh), The Vertex (Viet Capital Real Estate), The MarQ (Hong Kong Land), The Opera Residence and The Opusk (The Metropole Thu Thiem Complex, Sonkim Land), King Crown Infinity (BCG Land), Lancaster Legacy (Trung Thuy Group) and Nexus (Refico). In The Nexus, for instance, by proactive approach since the early concept design stage to tackle the critical issue of the diaphragm wall excavation condition (distanced less than 4.0 meters from the outer shell of the tunnel structure of Line 1 in Ho Chi Minh City), ACONS and the project team have gained endorsements from the Metro Authority for Urban Railway (MAUR), NJPT association (NJPT), and the Shimizu-Maeda Joint Operation (SMJO). Ultimately, the Technical Design Document for the substructure was finally approved by the Ministry of Construction (MOC). The construction was completed in mid of 2023 and the settlement monitoring has been ongoing with very satisfying results.

Prioritizing investments in state-of-the-art analysis and modeling tools advances ACONS as one of the pioneering firms in Building Information Modeling, AI and construction support services. In our stock, we have a wide range of software and tools for design and analysis such as Midas GTS NX/DeepEX for deep excavation and complex geotechnical analysis, Tekla Rebar Detailing for 3D rebar generation and detailing, Tekla Diamond/Autodesk AEC for general BIM coordination and deliverables, SAP/ETABS/ SAFE/Robot Structural Analysis/S-Concrete and in-house apps for superstructure analysis and design.

With 60 plus structural, civil engineers and architects, ACONS prides itself on its culture of collaboration and sharing of ideas. Principal-level participation throughout the project is critical. Communication at the early design stages of the project is the key to understanding and responding to clients’ needs and requirements. At the initial phases of design, engineering ideas are tested for cost efficiency and constructability. To ensure a high level of quality, we utilize an internal peer review process at a minimum of two stages of design. By September 2021, ACONS has received ISO 9001:2015 Certificate and is on track to apply ISO 19650:2018 into our daily workflow for managing information over the whole life cycle of a built asset using building information modeling (BIM).
